The cartoneria course focusing on catrina figures was successfully completed in the community of San Juan Bautista Suchitepec. The course was led by Early Education and Grupo Pro Día de Muertos. Fifteen life-sized catrina figures were created and displayed during the Day of the Dead festivities.
Children, youth, and adults demonstrated perseverance and creativity in this activity.
