Until a few months ago, participating families obtained the vegetables they bought from an external supplier. Currently, thanks to their decision they replaced this supplier and they are establishing themselves as a real option for supplying vegetables within their community. Although the project has meant a change in their lifestyle, they are happy with the achievements: savings in their daily expenses, better nutrition and new income.

"I met pro mixteca in 2016, we haven't been around for long; they told me that they advise you on your project. I became interested and contacted the promoter of the Tlaxiaco area.
I had abandoned my project because it produced but not well or much. With the support of pro mixteca, today I produce very good quality lettuce. I sell them in Tlaxiaco, I can sell a lettuce for a maximum of $12 MXN, a minimum of $8 MXN, it depends on the size."
