Despite the prolonged water shortage in our region due to lack of rainfall, the tilapia group, led by Mrs. Blanca, has made efforts to bring water to their fish ponds using wheelbarrows and a gasoline pump, connecting 400 meters of hose to the nearest river to utilize the river's scant water.
Currently, there are 4 ponds stocked with tilapia for sale and 2 ponds with a thousand growing fry. Training has been provided on preparing 5 different dishes for selling the tilapia, offering families more sales alternatives.
