EXPO FAIR OF THE MIXTECA PRODUCERS NETWORK

The Mixteca Producers Expo Fair was held in the community of San Juan Mixtepec, with the participation of producers from the same community, Cahuayá, Tinuma de Zaragoza, San Miguel Amatitlán, San José Yatandó, and producers from at least 10 more communities. This expo fair was made possible thanks to the management and collaboration of the traditional medicine group “Tataa Ñu Xinviko” and the municipal president of San Juan Mixtepec.

This event was based on collaboration, self-management, networking, and the social and solidarity economy. It is an initiative led by the Mixteca Producers Network, who officially signed their alliance on February 25 of this year, with the support and accompaniment of Fundación Pro Mixteca to strengthen trade and promote the work of producers.

With the participation of 50 producers, experiences, production processes, local product sales, organic goods, community leadership, and invitations to join the network were shared, all aimed at continuing to grow for the benefit of the communities of the Oaxacan Mixteca.
