During this quarter, a series of leadership workshops was held in Acatlán de Osorio, bringing together young people and adults with the objective of strengthening their personal and community capacities. Participants developed leadership skills, teamwork, and decision-making abilities, recognizing their potential as agents of change in their communities.
Likewise, the workshop “The Leader I Want to Be” was held for high school students at the Centro Universitario Luis Donaldo Colosio Murrieta in Huajuapan de León, where the recognition of skills, values, and goals was encouraged, motivating young people to actively engage in activities that contribute to their comprehensive development and the well-being of their communities.
As part of the collective learning process, a gathering was held between Pro-Mixteca Foundation promoters and the “artisan soap” group from the community of Juquila de León, during which the gardens where medicinal plants used in the production of their products are grown were visited.
Additionally, a week of training workshops was conducted for Pro-Mixteca promoters with the aim of strengthening socio-personal capacities and providing them with tools, methodologies, and participatory strategies for working with groups and communities.
