As part of the "Realízate" project, a community leadership program, the first Social and Solidarity Economy workshop was held in the community of San José Yatandoyo, with the presence of producers from the same community, as well as from San Sebastián Nopalera, Tinuma de Zaragoza, San Juan Mixtepec, and San Miguel Amatitlán. This training will have an impact on entire communities. With the participation of 11 women and 14 men, the workshop included a timeline of each productive project, where each group identified their strengths and the training they have received, visualizing how their economy has transformed before and after the pandemic. The workshop was led by Lic. Porfirio Jiménez Díaz, a student in the Master's in Social Action in Global Contexts at the Institute of Sociological Research of UABJO, whom we thank for his support in this activity.
